Our Chair’s next book, Firm Beliefs, is centered on 100 insights about how to build a great firm.  It is being written to provide learnings to every member of our team, so we can all build the most successful firms and careers.

We are a high growth group of firms, so we are always looking for people whose career development can be accelerated.  The rule of thumb in high growth is that you never have enough leaders.  We want to grow our leaders in-house whenever possible.

We expect you to learn what all of our firms do, independent of your core expertise, so if you are centered in marketing, we expect you to understand communications and achieve fluency in analytics, for example.  The leaders of tomorrow will know how to effortlessly work across the marketing, communications and public affairs sectors due to this type of intellectual integration.

Yep, we’ll challenge you to find out how good you can really become.  And that involves the ability to work across firms, learn other disciplines and, as a result, become the best you can become in your area of expertise.  Think about it.  How many communications professionals do you know who truly understand analytics and paid media and Purpose and technology and apply that to what they do in communications?  Not many, right?

Position Overview:

The Bliss Group is looking for an Account Supervisor or Account Director to join an account team within our professional services practice responsible for the B2B marketing activities and PR for our largest client, supporting and delving deep on multiple business lines and specific industries within.

This is truly an integrated role: your work will span traditional media relations, strategic planning, content creation, website copy, email marketing, paid social, and display advertising.  This team is at the forefront of content innovation, working on everything from traditional articles and whitepapers to videos and podcasts to online calculators and assessments to interactive content experiences.

The Bliss Group is hiring an Associate Account Executive who will support ~3-4 accounts across our financial and/or professional services practices.  This is an entry-level position, with relevant college coursework and/or internships a plus.

Position Overview:

The Bliss Group has an immediate opening for a Senior Account Executive to join our Professional Services team. The candidate will have the opportunity to join a team responsible for the B2B integrated marketing activities and PR for our largest client, supporting multiple business lines and industries within. They will participate in strategic planning and content creation initiatives across the entire account and assist in executing several large-scale marketing campaigns. They will also have the  opportunity to delve deep on several complex issues, including tax policy, regulatory compliance and digital transformation.

Position Overview:

The Bliss Group is looking to hire a Senior Account Executive to join our growing health care practice.  Our ideal candidate will be energized by finding and telling business-to-business health stories. They’ll be eager to explain why what our clients do and how they think matters to a) running health companies well, and b) delivering better patient outcomes.

Our new teammate will drive media relations outreach and support owned content and social media for disruptors in health care delivery, with opportunities to rise to lead accounts including digital health, life sciences and biotech. They’ll partner with our clients on story development, execute content creation initiatives, build new media relationships, and help support both traditional and digital PR strategies.

The ideal candidate has media relations experience and experience pitching health trade and business media.  They should be familiar with the paradigm shift that value-based care is bringing.  B2B health care PR/marketing experience is essential. Agency experience is a plus; we are also interested in speaking with candidates who worked on in-house communications teams and/or agency relationships.

The Bliss Group is seeking a sharp and dynamic Senior Vice President to help lead our Financial Services practice. This SVP will be tapped to proactively grow our client base of nearly 20 companies through proactive business development efforts and networking, in addition to serving as strategic account counsel for a multi-million dollar client portfolio. This person will also be a key member of the firm’s overall senior leadership team, helping us chart a path for growth and influence the Bliss culture.

This SVP must understand all corners of the financial services landscape—specific expertise with asset management firms, hedge funds, private equity and venture capital is a plus. The individual must also be adept at finding and telling B2B/B2C stories and must have a thorough understanding of integrated marketing and communications to provide counsel on media relations, content marketing and reaching buyers across PESO channels at each stage of the funnel.

This SVP will have the opportunity to serve as the co-lead strategist for one of our four practices and direct a multi-million dollar client portfolio. This person will be a key member of the firm’s overall senior leadership team, helping us chart a path for growth and influence the Bliss culture.

This role is heavily focused on developing new business and requires deep expertise in pitching new business as well as growing existing relationships. This SVP must also be adept at finding and telling B2B health stories and must have a thorough understanding of integrated marketing and communications to provide counsel on media relations, content marketing and reaching B2B buyers across each PESO channel and each stage of the funnel.
